Green Lili X John Lewis
At Green Lili we have a huge passion for art and love to design striking, minimalist pieces and when given the opportunity to collaborate with John Lewis to design an exclusive abstract collection, we just couldn’t wait to get started. The Green Lili x John Lewis abstract range is inspired by our love of the natural world with each colour way representing one of natures elements; earth, air and fire. With strong, bold mark making set against loosely painted watercolour formations in lighter, more subtle hues, each design makes for a striking stand alone piece, with the option to partner up matching colour palettes to make the perfect pair. Terra Abstracts 1 & 2 These two abstract paintings were created in deep green earthy tones, with hints of grey and blush pink. They are well placed against dark walls and plush velvets which continue to feature heavily in interior design. Aura Abstracts 1 & 2 Softly painted in sky blue and deep, inky tones with touches of muted pink and grey. This complementary pair depict shapes in likeness to floating, fluffy clouds creating a light and airy feel to suit any modern interior. Image Credit: @swatch_interior_design Ignis Abstracts 1 & 2 The two larger pieces in this collection are painted in rising, fiery shades of pink and red, in contrast with smoky greys and charcoal black with tiny, bright splashes of orange for additional detail. As we see the use of warm tones and natural materials make a big impact in interiors, these pieces really add to that authentic feel. Green Lili X French Connection Home
The Green Lili X French Connection collaboration features four exclusively designed pieces inspired by modern-day California, with a contemporary nod to the Native American style that French Connection embraces within its homeware range. With a shared love for rustic bohemian style interiors and all things botanical, we were over the moon when they asked us to team up and design their very first wall art collection. The pieces include a Native American Headdress, Monstera Palms, Moon Phases & Palm Springs prints and were a hit with publications: LivingEtc, You and Red Magazine, as well as featuring on the Telegraph's new items worth buying blog. Native American Headdress The Native American Headdress piece is loosely painted with layers and layers of feathers and big splashes of paint across the canvas. The cool, dark hues contrast with intricate highlights, which really add depth and drama to the artwork. Palm Springs Bringing the California vibe, our Palm Springs print features a single, black and white sketched palm tree. Minimal in style, this piece looks ultra cool in any modern interior and will have you dreaming of lazy, hazy days on the West Coast. Monstera Palms As nature-loving, plant enthusiasts, we all agreed that a lush green botanical print would be a perfect addition. Oozing with style and sophistication, this botanical painting features large Monstera palms intertwined with tropical Banana leaves. Phases of the Moon The final piece we designed features a lunar eclipse, with phases of the moon shining brightly against a dramatic black background—the perfect piece to complement French Connection’s cool, laid-back vibe.
